THE GUARDIANS Matinée Duster

THE GUARDIANS: Wings Are Always Near

• Born from a midnight offering — pieced together in the small hours like a prayer made of paper wings
• Features Edward Burne-Jones' angels from The Days of Creation, each cradling a world in feathered arms
• A velvety night sky, crescent moon, and 17th-century Italian branches wind through the design
• Trim combines a vintage William Morris golden floral pattern with stars from an antique Victorian book cover
• 100% viscose, matinée length — ethereal over any base color

Some pieces are made in daylight. This one was made at midnight, stitched together like a small prayer when the house was quiet and sleep wouldn't come. THE GUARDIANS carries that hush with it — a procession of angels from Edward Burne-Jones' The Days of Creation, wings folded, each cradling a world in her arms as she moves across a velvet night sky.

A crescent moon watches from above. Wild branches, borrowed from a 17th-century Italian etching, creep along the edges, while the golden William Morris trim glimmers with stars pulled from an old Victorian book cover.

Whatever you believe in — divine messengers, or simply the people who show up when we falter — this piece is a reminder: you are never walking alone. Pair it with jeans and a tee for your coffee run, or let it glow on its own for something quieter. Available up to size 14.100% viscose
