Why We Love Market Of Stars
There's something special about unboxing a new MARKET OF STARS collection at Get Dressed Collective. It's not just about the clothes – it's about the stories they tell and the confidence they inspire.
Each MARKET OF STARS piece begins as a piece of history. Founder Danielle designs from a 150-year-old worktable, drawing inspiration from centuries of artwork – 1580s botanical drawings, Thomas Gainsborough portraiture, Victorian lithographs, Japanese woodblock prints, and hand-embroidered French textiles dating back to the 1900s. Working alongside artist Jennifer Lanne, who brings these prints to life from a centuries-old barn studio, MARKET OF STARS transforms archival art into kimonos, dusters, pants, and scarves – wearable pieces with real artistic provenance, not mass-produced patterns.
We've watched this happen again and again: a customer finds the print that speaks to her, and something shifts. Her shoulders straighten. Her smile widens. These pieces don't just hang in closets; they become part of life's precious memories – the kimono worn to a daughter's graduation, the print that traveled with her on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
What makes this brand special is how these artistic prints, sourced from centuries of art history, help women express their authentic selves. When a customer tells us she got compliments all day or finally felt like herself in a MARKET OF STARS piece, we're reminded why we love carrying this brand.
These aren't just clothes – they're confidence boosters, conversation starters, and daily reminders that every woman deserves to feel special.
All MOS designs are made from 100% woven viscose, a soft, breathable fabric derived from plant fiber. Each print runs in limited quantities and is ethically produced overseas, so once a run sells out, it's gone for good.
